Come for a drive to the lovely country town of York. We will have a challenge on the day for all those who are attending. Bring a picnic or support the local businesses and buy from a number of eateries. Just over 1 hour away, we will also be looking to show the art of ICM on the lovely gums on the way home, if you wish to hang around.
Lots to see and photograph in this beautiful old town.
In 2009, members of the GEM Camera Club Inc. started the competition to enable amateur photographers within Western Australia to enter a photographic competition. The competition has been well supported over the years, and all amateur photographers within WA are encouraged to enter.
Not only is this an opportunity to compete and exhibit your work, it is also an opportunity to sell it!
This year’s competition has five categories:
- Destination WA
- Urban Landscape
- Animals/Bird (Wild or Domestic) and
- Pictorial (Open)
For further details including about how entering your images, and conditions of entry, go to the Spring in the Hills website at www.gemcameraclub.com.au/spring-in-the-hills
